We believe that prayer should be at the core of all we do in the parish. As Jesus taught and demonstrated in his ministry, so we encourage all types of prayer - individual, two or three together, in small groups and as a whole congregation.

Monthly Prayer Meetings
These are held in church at 11am on 1st Saturdays of each month.
NEW: Weekly prayer meeting
Takes place at the Rectory (8 Aris Way, Buckingham) every Tuesday morning from 8.30am until 9am during which we will be praying specifically for the life and work of the church. We would be delighted to welcome anyone with a heart to pray together.
NEW: St Peter & St Paul's Prayer & Praise
First Monday of the month 8pm-9pm in Church. Come, let's meet to pray together and to worship God! Perfect praise always starts on the inside with a worshipping and passionate heart for God.
Prayer Board
The Prayer Board at the door of the church has cards available for prayer requests for those visiting the church. Our prayer ministry team prays for those concerns each week.
Prayer Corner - A space to be still
To the right of the altar, we have a quiet Prayer Corner with seats, bibles, prayer cards, books, etc. available for the use of anyone who needs a space to be still. Candles are available to light for those who may find this helpful, to remember a loved one, perhaps.
Praying with People
There are times when we need to bring our concerns to God and open our lives to His love, care and healing. We believe it is important that the Church provides opportunities for this to happen. After every 10am service, quietly in the Lady Chapel, two members of our Prayer Ministry Team are available to listen and pray with you. You may want prayer for yourself or someone else. What you share is confidential. If, however, you would prefer to have someone pray with you at another time or in another place, or have longer-term prayer needs, please contact Sue Ambrose (01280-813346) who will arrange for someone to be available to help you.
Prayer Chain
For immediate prayer needs we have a confidential Telephone Prayer Chain at work. Please telephone Gill Croxton (01280 815100) with the request. If Gill is not available, please try Freda Storror (01280-817044) or Mary Buckingham (01280-815334) who will ensure the team are contacted.
